How It All Began
Chee-hoo in Hawaii is a colloquial term used to express joy and excitement, commonly yelled at the top of one’s lungs- Cheeeee Hoooo!
Our mission to highlight as much island sourced ingredients in every crunch and baking them locally, had us alter the saying from Chee-Hoo to ChihoOs!. The “Chi” represents a dual meaning: the first being the flow of energy, the ‘mana’ from farm to mouth and the second, elevates it from a common chocolate chip to chocolate ChihoOs!
It’s the cookie that celebrates the joys in life and has you shouting for more!

Hi, I’m Roberto, father of two boss babies, Harlow and Kingsley, and have been fortunate enough to live most of my life in the Aloha State. This recipe of chocolate chip cookies and the joy that goes into making them are a tribute to being alive on the planet with you.
